Peer-to-Peer Support
Sometimes the most powerful support comes from someone who has been exactly where you are. MCLA has partnered with Imerman Angels to connect MCL patients, survivors, and caregivers with trained mentors who truly understand the journey.
This service is completely free and available to anyone affected by mantle cell lymphoma — whether you are newly diagnosed, mid-treatment, in remission, or caring for someone with MCL.
Mentors are not medical professionals — they are real people who have lived the MCL experience and volunteered to share what they know. They can offer emotional support, practical guidance, and the kind of understanding that only comes from personal experience.
“There is nothing quite like hearing from someone who has walked the same path — not to give medical advice, but to say: I’ve been there, and I’m still here.”
Find your mentor
Choose the path that fits your situation. Both links go directly to our MCLA-specific referral form — Imerman Angels will use your responses to find the right mentor for you.
Patients, fighters & survivors
Whether you are looking for a mentor who has been through MCL, or you are a survivor who wants to become a mentor yourself — this link handles both. After you accept a zero-tolerance policy, you will be prompted to choose your path.
Get matched or become a mentorCaregivers
Caring for someone with MCL is its own journey. This link connects caregivers with a mentor who has supported a loved one through cancer — or lets experienced caregivers sign up to offer that support to others. Your path is chosen directly on the form.

Submit the form
Fill out your referral form using the link above. Imerman Angels will ask about your diagnosis, age, and what kind of support you are looking for.
Get matched
Imerman Angels will carefully match you with a Mentor Angel who shares your cancer type and relevant life circumstances. Matching typically takes a few days.
Connect one-on-one
You will be introduced to your mentor by email. From there, you connect however works best for you — by phone, email, or video — on your own schedule, at no cost.
What is Imerman Angels?
Imerman Angels is a nonprofit organization that provides free, personalized, one-on-one support by connecting people impacted by cancer with a "Mentor Angel" — someone who has faced the same type of cancer and come out the other side. Every connection is thoughtfully matched by age, gender, diagnosis, and life circumstances.
